Welcome to Everything Adi!
My name is Adrienne Melissa MacMaster, or Adi. I am, like most millennials, trying to figure out life. I love God but I am still in the process of learning to love people in the way God loves them. I love the church but I am fully aware of it’s imperfections. I am also a feminist. And a large part of my journey so far has been figuring out how feminism fits into God’s greater picture. The toughest part of my 20s use to be the fact that I was single and unemployed. Half way into my 20s all of that turned around.
Just as I figured out how to be single and how to be okay with not going with the mainstream, I started dating my now fiance and got a job in the big corporate world. My new struggle is figuring out all of that.
I was surprised to find that I am not the only one on this journey.
My heart behind this blog is to show other millennials that it’s okay not to be okay. It’s okay to be a christian who sees through the lens of liberals and challenge a patriarchal society. It’s okay to be single and to love being single. It’s okay to be different. It’s okay to be lost.
I hope you catch the heart behind each post and that it helps you navigate through your life’s journey. I tend to write of God a lot and He is the lens through which I view my job, my anxiety, my fiance and alllll of that.
Come along my journey, I’d love to hear from you!
